Our Client is a world leader in providing electrical energy solutions, with operations in over 100 countries, and production sites on 3 continents. 

For their Sales Team in Dubai, they are looking for a new

Sales Director Aftermarket – Automotive - Dubai Based

The local sales team is well established and the team has 8 Salesmen in the market.

 

Major Accountabilities

  • Manage and guide a team of 8 Salesmen and backoffice staff
  • Set up and implement the sales, product, brand and price strategy
  • To lead and motivate the sales team and build relationships within Exide / JV partner
  • To lead the appointment of new distributors and grant development in the market
  • Focus on markets with higher potential (Saudi, Nigeria, UAE)
  • Management of the local sales and marketing team
  • Responsible for sales and margin results including P & L for sales group, Customer profitability
  • Sales and marketing expenses
  • Budget definition and preparation according guideline from HQ
  • Definition and implementation of distribution strategy shared with HQ
  • Monthly forecasting preparation to be provided to operation
  • Brand strategy per country

Requirements

  • lead and drive the sales strategy for the Gulf, MEA regions
  • ​Experience in Distribution Management is a must have
  • Proven Ability to recruit, appoint and develop new distributors in Gulf Region
  • Further Develop markets in the region, particularly focussing on markets with higher potential such as Saudi, Nigeria, UAE
  • AM Export experience 2-3y
  • Business experience around 5y
  • Strong personality, Strong leadership and building relationship skill
  • Relocation to Dubai is required (Company pays for relocation)
  • Working in an organization with fast growth and new customer wins
  • Export experience AM to the MEA
  • MUST: AM parts manufacturer, no trader or reseller
  • English fluent, ideally Arabic
  • Commercially strong
