Country Manager Germany
The position is located in Duisburg Area, Germany Only qualified candidates with below mentioned experiences will be contacted
Reports to the International Commercial Director of the Division
Is responsible for a current turnover of approx. 20MM Euros and leading the sales and service team directly and indirectly (current Sales €20M but expectation to grow to in excess of €35M)
Is managing the distribution partners in Germany
Is responsible for profitable business growth in the country
Implements the commercial strategy
Implements and Drives an effective sales, installation & service Organization
Is expected to deliver agreed quantitative and qualitative targets and increase in market share and brand awareness
Key tasks and responsibilities
Growing country turnover by implementing a rolling sales plan, periodically updated to reflect changing market conditions and competition. Maximize profitable revenue and customer satisfaction whilst establishing a strong and safe market position.
In line with the strategy of group, adapt, develop and monitor strategic plan for the country with the adequate and reliable sales forecast, budget and 5YP. Develop the most relevant and adding-value route to markets from specification to distribution.
Monitor sales performance (visits,quotes & orders) and ensure reliability of forecasting in volumes, prices and margin.
Responsible for Sales, installation and service. Develop and monitor the efficiency improvements of the installation and service teams.
Analyze the different stakeholders in the country and be able to prove added value to the different influencers
Develop and maintain very good relationships with customers, influencers and other stakeholder and ensure a good balance of current and new accounts.
Continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of all sales processes.
Continuously improve customer satisfaction from sales, installation to service/maintenance.
Must have experience Successful candidates will have the following leadership competencies:
Proven ability to manage workflows with multiple stakeholders.
Experience of both equipment and service sales in the building technology sector or the construction market
Years of experience: min. 7-10 years at senior sales position in Technical Building products.
Experience of value based selling & price differentiation
Understands the value chain from specification to installation.
Level of education: Engineering or Business degree
Mother tongue German, fluent English. Other languages an advantage
Excellent communication skills, with the flexibility and adaptability to liaise with all levels in the organization
Positive attitude, open minded and accessible team player & able to motivate the organization.
Hands-on - pragmatic – result driven - eye for detail where needed.
